Mendocino Woodlands Camp/Planned Giving

There is no better donation than a donation from the heart. The Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association is tremendously grateful for every contribution that finds its way to us.

What is planned or estate giving?
Some may think it’s a morbid or distasteful subject matter. But it really is a celebration of life. It is developing a plan that will allow you and your family to benefit from your hard work and savings. It will also enable you to make a dramatic impact on the charities you care the most about. Your thoughtful planning will help you enjoy life, make sure your loved ones are taken care of and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

There are many ways a planned gift can help you accomplish your financial goals while providing important support towards restoring and preserving the Woodlands. Planned gifts allow you to leave a powerful legacy of caring. These types of gifts can also help you to reduce capital gains tax, provide income tax deductions, and even generate a stream of income for life.

You should consider a bequest if you: want your giving to continue far into the future, want your estate plan to reflect your philanthropic values, and want to make a gift that doesn’t affect your current cash flow.

• You direct a charitable gift to the Woodlands through your Will or living trust.
• Your estate will distribute the gifts.
